I love all kinds of occasions and "special days". One of these involves the giving of Easter eggs to someone you like.

It is such a  nice tradition, and has me thinking all through spring-time. There are many interesting ways to show someone that you love them, and the giving of an egg to symbolize a wish for that person to be fruitful and bountiful, well--it's a nice wish

In Denmark we have a tradition.

It starts with the cutting of a so called "gækkebrev". A letter with a paper cutting and a dried snowdrop inside.
It's signed only with specks, as many as there are letters in ones name.
The receiver then has a couple of weeks to find out who sent it. If he/she cannot figure it out, the sender gets an Easter egg, but if the sender has been found out the egg goes to the receiver.

If the sender is a child and the receiver is a grandparent, of course it is seldom found out.

This is a good way to get lots of Easter eggs.
Preferably chocolate-eggs.
